The particular metallic Powder Series makes the paint film extremely sensitive to Humidity (oxidization) and scratches. To avoid these problems we suggest over-painting to get metallic effect with long lasted transparent clear powder coating.



PURE EPOXY- PE

Product Description
NICE COAT Epoxy Powder is based on pure epoxy resins cross-linked with hardeners. Epoxy powder coating is formulated to give hard durable finishes with excellent adhesion and chemical resistance. It is suitable for indoor use as a decorative and protective coating. Epoxy powder coatings should not be used for exterior applications or where exposure to ultraviolet radiance will cause negative effect.

Particle size distribution - Average particle size between 30 to 50 microns. Below 125 microns 100%.  According to the customer’s specification needs.
Storage & Shelf Life - Should be stored at normal room temperatures under dry conditions with good ventilation at a temperature not exceeding 25 ?.
- Storage period recommended should not exceed 6 months, in case exceeding 6 months without affecting their free flowing properties, the powder will still have optimal characteristics.
- Always rotate powder inventories to ensure trouble-free powder application protect virgin and leftover powder from excessive heat, humidity and water.
- Any leftover powder should be kept in an appropriate area that is cool and dry. Do not expose to the air too long as the powder properties may deteriorate with the moisture



Application Schedule
Application Method - Applied by electrostatic spraying gun that can provide negative tension of 60 to 110KV (Kilovolt).
Film Thickness (DFT) - Depending on covering power and shade, general recommendation is 60-100 microns (µm), with a minimum preferred thickness of 60 µm.
Curing schedule - 10 to 15 minutes at 180? (Object Temperature) See box label for curing conditions.
  • Do not mix this product with another powder.
  • Substrate should be correctly cleaned before use.
  • It is essential that the compressed air is completely filtered to avoid contamination by oil, dust or water.
  • Jigs should be clean in order to maintain good earthing.
  • To avoid contamination, when using different colors, thorough cleaning of the application and recovery systems must be carried out between each color. Care should be taken in keeping different colors and types of powders well segregated.
  • Film thickness: The required application settings will depend upon the geometry of the object being coated as well as the specified film thickness. It is the responsibility of the applicator to make the appropriate adjustments. Certain colors should be applied at higher film thickness to ensure full coverage and color behavior. Below this limit, color variation may happen due to thickness variation.
  • Despite the great care that is taken during our manufacturing process, small color batch or other slight appearance variations from batch to batch are unavoidable for effect colors. Therefore we recommend that a single batch of powder coatings should be used to coat parts that will be subsequently assembled together.

NOTE: Pretreatment is compulsory for best results in coating process.
It is essential to ensure that the surface to be coated is free from dust, rust, scale, oil, etc. Chemical pre-treatment of the substrate is essential to increase the long term corrosion resistance. In order to obtain optimal anti-corrosion properties, it is recommended to apply a chemical pretreatment prior to powder coating application.


Application Areas
PE is aimed at applications for internal use and for products which demand a high degree of surface hardness. Epoxy based powder coatings are not recommended for outdoor use when color and gloss durability is required. This is used for given applications like:

Flexibility (Conical Mandrel)-Passes > 5mm
Adhesion (Crosshatch tape test) - Passes (2mm)
Impact Resistance (Direct / Reverse) - 50 Kg.cm
Chemical Resistance - Epoxy systems are typically resistant to most acids, alkalis, oils, lubricants, brake fluids and hydraulic fluids. The system can often be modified where a specific resistance is required.

EPOXY-POLYESTER (HYBRID)-HB

Product Description
NICECOAT Epoxy Polyester powder coatings are thermosetting powders based on epoxy & polyester resins. They are formed by blending these two polymer types in different ratios depending on the end-use requirements.

Typical applications for epoxy polyester powder are those where a tough decorative finish is desirable such as domestic appliances. Hybrid powders are ideally suited for indoor applications.

It’s outstanding enhanced over bake resistance vs. epoxy / whereas slightly improved over bake resistance to yellowing is found in the component. Its mechanical properties make it a wide range of indoor applications. Cannot use in outdoor application.

Product Description
NiceCoat is a thermosetting powder coating based on polyester resin cross linked with TGIC hardener specially selected for exterior use. Its standard polyester TGIC powders are an excellent, all-purpose coating designed to decorate and protect the end product. It is formulated to give properties of good flow-out and satin or glossy finish. Its outstanding resistance to ultra-violet light and atmospheric aging make it highly decorative and durable in outdoor environment, It is widely used for outdoor furniture, architectural hardware, air-conditioners, bicycle frames, garage doors and signboards etc.

POLYESTER (TGIC-Free)-PPF

Product Description
TGIC-free polyester powder coatings based on polyester resin. At elevated temperatures the powders melt, cure and form the final paint film.
Polyester powders are suitable for product coating within the metal industry for objects that require a weather resistant coating that will not yellow on exposure to heat or ultraviolet light.
Polyester powders form a mechanically and chemically resistant paint film that has good anticorrosive properties. The surface has good gloss retention even in outdoor conditions.

SUPER DURABLE-SD

Product Description
NiceCoat super durable polyester TGIC powders are an excellent, all round coating designed to provide additional exterior weathering and salt and humidity resistance over standard polyester.
Nice Coat is a series of super durable polyester powder coatings, specially formulated to satisfy the highest requirements of the building industry regarding aesthetic performance, UV and humidity resistance. Super Durable Coating is recommended when special requirements regarding gloss retention and color stability are required. Primary areas of application are aluminum extrusions and claddings for architectural work.

Product Description
Polyurethane powder coatings are thermosetting powders based on durable polyester Resins cross-linked with IPDI hardener. Polyurethane powders are recommended for both interior and exterior use. Polyurethanes are designed for applications in all types of environments. PU provides very good resistance to chemical and corrosive conditions and superior resistance to color and gloss change in areas of sunlight exposure making them a good choice for interior or exterior applications.

Powder Properties
Chemistry - Polyurethane-PU
Specific Gravity - 1.4 - 1.7 (depending on pigmentation)
Theoretical Coverage - 10-12 Sq.Mt/Kg. at 60 µm +/- 10 Microns (Depending on Pigmentation)(At 100% material utilization)
Particle size distribution - Average particle size between 30 to 50 microns. Below 125 microns 100%. According to the customer’s specification needs.
Storage & Shelf Life -Should be stored at normal room temperatures under dry conditions with good ventilation at a temperature not exceeding 25 ?.
- Storage period recommended should not exceed 6 months, in case exceeding 6 months without affecting their free flowing properties, the powder will still have optimal characteristics.
- Always rotate powder inventories to ensure trouble-free powder application, protect virgin and leftover powder from excessive heat , humidity and water.
- Any leftover powder should be kept in an appropriate area that is cool and dry. Do not expose to the air too long as the powder properties may deteriorate with the moisture



Application Schedule
Application Method - Applied by electrostatic spraying (Tribomatic/Corona Charging) gun that can provide negative tension of 60 to 110KV (Kilovolt).
Film Thickness (DFT) - Depending on covering power and shade, general recommendation is 60-100 microns (µm), with a minimum preferred thickness of 60 µm.
Curing schedule - 10 to 15 minutes at 200? (Object Temperature) See box label for curing conditions.
  • Do not mix this product with another powder.
  • Substrate should be correctly cleaned before use.
  • It is essential that the compressed air is completely filtered to avoid contamination by oil, dust or water.
  • Jigs should be clean in order to maintain good earthing.
  • To avoid contamination, when using different colors, thorough cleaning of the application and recovery systems must be carried out between each color. Care should be taken in keeping different colors and types of powders well segregated.
  • Film thickness: The required application settings will depend upon the geometry of the object being coated as well as the specified film thickness. It is the responsibility of the applicator to make the appropriate adjustments. Certain colors should be applied at higher film thickness to ensure full coverage and color behavior. Below this limit, color variation may happen due to thickness variation.
  • Despite the great care that is taken during our manufacturing process, small color batch or other slight appearance variations from batch to batch are unavoidable for effect colors.
