Pure Polyester Industrial Grade Powder Coatings

Pure Polyester Industrial Grade Powder Coatings

Our range of industrial polyester shades stands out for its robust resistance to harsh weather conditions and its consistent shade and gloss levels. These products, meticulously crafted, are used to coat a diverse array of substrates. Industrial-grade pure polyesters are not only the most popular powders in use but also offer a remarkable balance of quality and cost-effectiveness.

The polyester powder spectrum primarily includes two types: TGIC (tri glycidyl isocyanurate) and non-TGIC, the latter often referred to as TGIC-free, using Primid Technology. Both variants — TGIC and TGIC-free polyesters — are lauded for their commendable mechanical resistance. They are known for their flexibility, impact resilience, chemical resistance, and impressive outdoor durability. A notable feature of polyesters is their resistance to yellowing during overbaking, making them highly user-friendly. Additionally, standard industrial-grade polyesters promise up to five years of UV and weather resistance. This makes them apt for various interior and certain exterior applications.

One of the standout advantages of standard pure polyesters is the plethora of options available in terms of colors, gloss levels, and special effects. The choices are almost boundless! As a testament to their versatility, polyesters are frequently the go-to choice for numerous applications. While TGIC-free polyesters mirror many advantages of TGIC polyesters, they also boast a higher first-pass transfer efficiency. However, they require careful handling due to their sensitivity to excessive film thickness.

Despite being the linchpin of powder coatings, polyesters have their share of limitations. Their restricted exterior durability stands out as the primary shortcoming of standard polyesters.
